About

I am a registered psychologist and EMDR practitioner. I value integrative and holistic wellness. My practice is individualised and person-centred, combining a whole person approach with evidence-based strategies to support personal change, healing, and growth.

Originally from the NSW Mid North Coast, during the past two decades, I have worked mostly in regional, rural and remote areas of Australia across community, non-government, and private psychological health services.

therapeutic Style

My approach is warm, attuned, collaborative, and compassionate. My aim is to provide a welcoming space in which you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. Together we explore what brings you to therapy, in a way that you feel both held and gently challenged, as you take your own therapeutic journey towards reaching your own personal goals.

Modality & Approach

I bring the breadth of my professional training and background to understand your concerns within your life’s broader context. In collaboration, we develop therapy goals and I tailor the therapy approach to your needs, as well as your personal strengths and differences. I work flexibly and seek your feedback on how the therapeutic approach and specific strategies utilised are meeting your needs and therapeutic expectations.

Currently, I practice from an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapy framework. I also utilise and integrate a range of other modalities to best support my clients with personal change and growth:

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy)

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy

  • MI (Motivational Interviewing)
