About
Originally from Coffs Harbour area, Amy has returned after living in Byron Shire and Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. She lives with her husband, three children, one cat, two guinea pigs, five chickens, and a duck.
After working in business corporations for many years spanning banking, media, and tertiary education sectors, Amy retrained as a Psychologist. She has a passion for hearing people’s stories, and empowering them to lead the lives they want to live.

Special Interests
Amy works with a range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, communication and relationship issues. She has been a Commonwealth registered marriage celebrant since 2008 and has a particular interest in couples therapy.

Amy offers a kind, non-judgemental and compassionate style meeting each client in the present moment to form a professional therapeutic alliance. She offers unconditional positive regard to all clients, while providing an ethical and confidential service.
Modality & Approach
Amy works primarily with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy using methods such as identifying thinking errors, and cognitive restructuring. She bookends these and other techniques with psychoeducation, and mindfulness relaxation.
